    5. Can I print Europass Mobility immediately?

    6. What are the requirements to use Europass Mobility?

The following requirements must be met:

    • The stay (abroad) is organised in the framework of an educational initiative.
    • The stay abroad is happening in one of the participating European countries (EU countries / EFTA countries / application countries / Turkey)
    • The stay abroad is based on a partnership or a written contract between the sending partner and host institution.
    • The written contract includes content, targets and duration of the stay abroad, as well as the information in which  languages the Europass Mobility will be issued in.
    • Mentors have been identified in both partner organisations.

If the stay abroad happens in the context of a European or national mobility programme (like Erasmus+) no further contract has to be set up. The national Europass Centre may check at any time if a corresponding contract or grant exists.

    8. Is Europass Mobility an offical document?

No. Europass Mobility is not an official document, but a quality certificate. Europass Mobility is used on a voluntary basis by the sending and host partners.

Europass Mobility uses the same structure all over Europe and contributes to a transparent documentation of job-related and educational stays abroad. Employers get concise information about important qualifications. Europass Mobility issued as a print-out is only valid if it has been signed and stamped by at least one partner organisation.

    11. Do I have to re-enter all the relevant data that I already entered into the Erasmus+ Mobility tool when filling in Europass Mobility?

No. With the new Europass Mobility database that was introduced in October 2014 this is not necessary anymore. All data that has been saved in the Erasmus+ Mobility tool can be exported to Excel. This file can then be uploaded into the Europass database. That way no double entries have to be made.

    12. Does Europass Mobility support me in filling in the learning agreement for my Erasmus+ Mobility project?

Yes. Learning agreements can be produced in the Europass Mobility database. All data that has already been entered at that point will be automatically transferred.
